This past weekend, February 16-18th, I was at Kanab, Utah for the Balloons and Tunes festival. Inclement weather only allowed for one day of flying which was fairly disappointing. I didn't get the photos that I wanted from this event as I need multiple days to learn what's best. Oh, well, it happens.

I really hate driving but, I want to go to the balloon festivals. So I end up slogging myself through the drive... Self driving cars couldn't come any sooner, I swear.

Read MoreIf you've ever seen a picture of Antelope Canyon, it looks so very mystical, and unreal. Well, if you haven't, you'll see some pictures here. Since I first paid eyes upon Antelope Canyon a few years ago, I have been wanting to visit this place since then. Obviously, I'm not unique in wanting to visit Antelope Canyon. Let me tell you, there are swarms of visitors wanting to see the slot canyons nearly every day. Even though school is in session, and it's a weekday, it still gets crowded. Though I don't want to even imagine the crowds in the summer.
Read MoreBetween October 7th, to the 15th, was the Balloon Fiesta in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Of course, I was there for some of it; the two mass ascension weekends. I took some pictures, recorded some video and just really enjoyed my time there.
Read MoreIf you can't tell already, despite having an entire page dedicated to them, I love hot air balloons! Seeing these balloons in flight with their vibrant colors really strikes a good tone in me. Also being able to get up close to the massive aircraft puts a sense of awe into me. There isn't anything else quite like hot air balloons to me.

Read MoreSo Friday morning I drove up to the summit of Mt. Evans. Some of you may know that the roads tot he summit is the highest paved road in the United States. If you didn't know that, well, you do now. I also made a vlog about this venture. Managing two cameras at the same time was a complete pain but, it got done. Sort of.

I would go on many adventures, get photos, make YouTube videos, and somehow monetize all of those to make a decent living. So far I've gone an some [great] adventures, got some photos, made like six [terrible] videos, and have made no money. What an interesting situation to be in. Now eight months later my bank account shows an... interesting financial state.

Read MoreZion National Park was my second destination of my great road trip. I have just finished camping there for three night and, boy, was it a bit wet! For all three nights that I stayed in Zion, it was raining and snowing with very few breaks. A trail worker I met said that her most senior staff said that this was the most rain and snow the park has ever gotten in their 25 years of working there. This did not make for the best camping conditions, but I still survived! Amusingly enough, despite there being snow, Zion was actually warmer than Arches!
